Lao Cha Wei Tuocha — a portion-pressed shu pu-erh from Yunnan province, shaped into a classic miniature birds' nest (tuocha) weighing 5–6 grams. This format is ideal for a single tea session. Sourced from old tea trees, the leaves yield a mature and deep character. The dense pressing and secure packaging perfectly preserve the original aroma and flavor profile of the leaf.
Appearance: Small, dense, and neatly shaped nests (tuocha). The raw material consists of large, well-twisted dark leaves. It brews into a thick, deep dark-chestnut liquor.
Aroma: Mature and mellow. The bouquet is dominated by notes of sun-warmed wood and damp earth, seamlessly shifting into hints of dried fruits, prunes, and dark chocolate.
Taste: Velvety, deep, and completely free of bitterness even with a long steep. Dominated by smooth woody-nutty tones, prune nuances, and noble resinous undertones. The aftertaste is long-lasting, sweetish, with a honey-like finish.
Benefits & Features: Provides a distinct warming effect, gently tones the body, improves focus, and aids digestion. An excellent pu-erh for convenient daily brewing.
Ingredients: puerh tea.
