| Gathering place: | China |
| Aroma: | green apple, jasmine |
| Taste: | baked, fruity-floral |
Gaba Tie Guan Yin — a unique Chinese oolong tea presented in the format of a dense, neatly pressed tea cake of a classic round shape. During production, the tea leaves undergo a special oxygen-free processing (Gaba technology), naturally enriching them with gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This gives the oolong special value, a gentle relaxing effect, and a unique flavor profile.
Appearance: Dark, dense, and neatly twisted leaves. Upon brewing, the infusion takes on a clear amber or golden color.
Aroma: Resinous and sweetish, with notes of baked milk, kiwi, green apple, and plum paste. Hints of jasmine, citrus, and light herbal undertones are also present.
Taste: Smooth and balanced, with fruity-floral and slightly baked nuances. The aftertaste is long-lasting, sweet, and refreshing. When warmed, the leaf reveals notes of floral honey, fresh apples, and wild meadow herbs.
Benefits & Features:
- Due to its low caffeine content, it is ideal for daily consumption, helping to relax and improve mood.
- This tea is also excellent when chilled — the cooling brings out a fuller berry acidity, making it a perfect choice for hot summer days.
Ingredients: oolong tea.
