Liping Bai Cha White Tea, 50g
| Kind: | White tea |
| Gathering place: | Liping County, Guizhou, China |
| Aroma: | fresh, floral, and subtly fruity |
| Taste: | mellow, sweet, and exceptionally smooth |
Liping White Tea is a seasonal marvel crafted from the rare “Baiye No. 1” cultivar. Originally from Zhejiang Province, where it was known as “Anji Baicha,” this tea was introduced to the unique terroir of Liping County, Guizhou. Its most striking feature is the physiological change of the leaves: when temperatures drop below 25°C, the leaves turn white with green veins.
While technically named a “white tea,” its flavor profile aligns more closely with premium green teas, though it is much gentler and smoother. Liping White Tea offers a refined, delicate taste without the typical astringency of green tea. Rich in amino acids and antioxidants, it yields a clear, bright infusion with a mellow sweetness and subtle floral notes, leaving a delightful lingering aftertaste.
Ingredients: white tea.
